Day One: Uganda safaris-
Arrival at Entebbe Airport A tourist guide from Access Budget Safaris will pick you from the Airport and take to a hotel where you will have your accommodation as booked before and it’s from there that dinner will be served. Accommodation is arranged in terms of Budget, Mid-range and Luxury accommodation. You can check our accommodation list for more details.
Day Two: Uganda safaris-Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Wake up in the morning from your hotel and in the company of our tour guide head to Murchison falls national park. On your way, you will travel through the very known Luwero Triangle where the NRM gorilla war took place. You can also visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary which is home to the remaining Rhinoceros in Uganda then enjoy your lunch as you continue with your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. On arrival at Murchison falls, enjoy the beautiful scenery on top of the falls while taking some pictures and enjoying the cool breath of the World’s second largest river. You can also view a number of activities carried out on the falls if you have enough time. Then after a long day, dinner and overnight as arranged in the hotel of your choice.
Day Three: Uganda safaris-packages 12 days
Wake up early in the morning for an adventurous game drive in the Northern parts of the park where you will be able to see different animals that include Elephants, Antelopes, Lions, Giraffes etc that are only found in the African Savanna Vegetation and a variety of birds as you head towards the Budongo forest. Then go for lunch as arranged and then after lunch takes a cruise on River Nile. This will lead you to the bottom of the Marvelous falls with a beautiful view of the neighboring environment like Schools then see the giants of the Nile like; the Hippos Buffalos, Crocodiles taking water at the banks of the Nile not excluding a variety of birds like the Fish eagle, Kingfishers, Bee-eaters, the rare Shoebill if you are lucky enough, Heron etc Then in the evening dinner and overnight at the hotel of your choice as arranged.
Day Four: Uganda safaris-Kibale Forest National Park
Enjoy the beautiful scenery as you drive on to Fort portal town then check in at your hotel for dinner and overnight. You can check our accommodation list for more details
Day Five: Uganda safaris-Chimpanzee tracking
Wake up early in the morning to have a morning walk in the forest to track the chimpanzees. Watch the way the Apes eat play in trees. Have lunch and then after lunch we go for a nature walk in Bigodi Swamp that is a home of 200 bird species this will take approximately 2-3 hours. The swamp also has a number of butterflies. You can also visit the local people in the area then local markets where a variety of items are sold including mats, Bags, Jewellery and a little percentage (10%) got from tourism is being used to develop the community by building schools, supporting orphans and disadvantaged people. After a long day dinner and overnight at the hotel of your choice.
Day Six: Uganda safaris-Queen Elizabeth
Have an early morning breakfast then drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On arrival in the western part of Uganda, visit the top of the world a natural bridge and have a view of the Snow capped mountains on a clear day. Afterward, drive through the hills of the Rwenzori ranges heading to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Then dinner and overnight at the hotel of your budget as arranged.
Day Seven: Uganda safaris-Queen Elizabeth National Park
Wake up early for a morning game drive. During the drive, you will be able to look out for the Buffalos, Elephants and other wildlife then return to your accommodation for a late breakfast. After lunch enjoys a launch cruise on kazinga channel that is a home of a variety of water birds and hippos, elephants, buffalos etc can be seen on a hot day sunbathing. Then dinner and overnight
Day Eight: Uganda safaris-Chimpanzee Tracking and Game Drive
Wake up early in the morning and have breakfast. After breakfast begins the tracking of chimps in Kyambura gorge. You can also visit Maramagambo forest for nature walks in the forest. After a tiresome morning return to the hotel for an early lunch and then transfer to Ishasha for an afternoon game drive. It is here that if you are lucky enough you can see the tree climbing lions. Then dinner and overnight at the hotel of your choice as arranged.
Day Nine: Uganda safaris-Transfer To Bwindi Forest National park
Have an early morning breakfast then drive Bwindi Forest National park that is known to be home of gorillas. Arrive at the hotel of your budget for dinner and overnight as you take a rest preparing for the next morning.
Day Ten: Uganda safaris-Bwindi Forest National park
Have an early morning breakfast and then go to the starting point for briefing and guidance about the activity then start your journey in search of the mountain gorillas. You will walk through the forest slashing the thick grass to track gorillas. The time taken to track the gorillas is unpredictable since it depends on their movements in search of food and shelter however it can take 1-8hrs. When you find the gorillas, you will strictly have 1hour with them thus enabling you to sit down and watch them as they interact with each other, communicate and feed. You can also take photos and record video then return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day Eleven: Uganda safaris-Transfer to Lake Mburo
Have an early breakfast and arrange packed lunch to move with the transfer to Lake Mburo. On the way, you can have a stopover at Igongo cultural center that is rich with the cultural heritage of western Uganda then proceed to Lake Mburo National Park. Arrive at the hotel of your budget and prepare yourself then in the evening, an evening boat ride is arranged as you enjoy the beautiful sceneries in the valley like bird watching the common species include Rufous-bellied Heron, Bateleur, Coqui Francolin, Grey Crowned Crane, Black-bellied Bustard, and Brown-chested Lapwing. Then dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day Twelve: Departure
Wake up early for a morning game drive then after that head to Entebbe Airport to catch up with your departure flight.
