Day One: Kigali
Our tour guide will welcome you from the Airport and depending on your flight you will be transferred to the city (for the morning and afternoon flight, you will be able to do part of the city tour before you retire at the hotel of your budget for dinner and overnight)

Day Two: Ruhengeri
Wake up early in the morning and after breakfast, transfer to Ruhengeri North of Rwanda. You will enjoy your tour of the town center; visit the brick makers as you enjoy the beautiful sceneries of Rwanda. In the evening, you will be entertained by one of the cultural dance groups as you prepare for dinner at your hotel.

Day Three: Twin lakes
After an early morning breakfast, in the company of your tour guide, drive to visit the twin lakes that is Burera and Ruhondo and here you will be able to see a variety of fields with different farming methods. You can also do a boat ride on the lakes, visit the local fishermen and do some fishing with them. During the ride you will also be able to see a variety of birds on the shores of the lakes then depending on the time you have; you can visit the medicine man. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day four: Lake Kivu
After breakfast, drive to Kibuye through the Mountains and deep valleys and have a stopover on the way for lunch then proceed. On arrival, you will relax on the lakeshore for the breathtaking breathe then after go for a boat ride on the lake where you will be able to see a number of birds and wildlife. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.


Day Five: Palace & Museums
Early in the morning after breakfast, drive to Nyanza, Rwanda’s historical seat for ancient kings and here you will visit the palace and be told about the history of Rwanda’s kings and kingdoms then proceed to Butare where you will see Rwanda’s cultural center and National Museum. Here you will be told about the 1994 Rwandan genocide. In the evening you will be entertained by the Batwa group then dinner at your hotel.

Day Six: Departure
Head to Kigali and if you missed the city tour, you will get a chance to go for it by visiting the genocide sites and local markets then transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
