One: Murchison Falls Nationale
up in the morning from your hotel and in the company of our tour guide head to Murchison falls national park. On your way, you will travel through the famous Luwero Day Triangle where the NRM gorilla war took place. You can also visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary which is home to the remaining Rhinoceros in Uganda then enjoy your lunch as you continue with your journey to Murchison Falls National Park.
On arrival at Murchison falls, enjoy the beautiful scenery on top of the falls while taking some pictures and enjoying the cool breath of the Worldâ€™s second largest river.You can also be able to view a number of activities carried out on the falls and if you have enough time, you can also take part in some of the activities like jumping, Water Rafting. Then proceed to the park which is dominated by savanna woodland, river and tropical forest habitats which provide a home for over 76 mammal species and 450 bird species and after a long day, dinner e Bungee and overnight as arranged in the hotel of your choice.
Day Two: Game Drive and cruise
Wake up early in the morning for an adventurous game drive in the Northern parts of the park where you will be able to see different animals that include Elephants, Antelopes, Lions, Giraffes etc that are only found in the African Savanna Vegetation and a variety of birds as you head towards the Budongo forest. Then go for lunch as arranged and then after lunch takes a cruise on River Nile. This will lead you to the bottom of the Marvelous falls with a beautiful view of the neighboring environment like Schools then see the giants of the Nile like the Hippos Buffalos, Crocodiles not excluding a variety of birds like the Fish eagle, Kingfishers, Bee-eaters,Shoebill, Heron etc Dinner and overnight at the hotel of your choice.
Day Three: Kibale National park
Wake up early in the morning and take breakfast then transfer to Kibale national park a journey that takes between 7-10 hours. You will enjoy a game drive as enter the park and you may be able to see some bird species the park being home to 325 species that are found in the Albertine rift valley and a number of animals like the chimpanzees, baboons, monkeys, black and white Colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys. Arriving at the lodge of your choice late in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day Four: Chimpanzee tracking
Wake up early in the morning for breakfast go to Kanyanchu ranger station for the briefing from the ranger or guide. After a briefing, you will enjoy a guided walk through the forest in search for the chimpanzees and Kibale being a tropical forest found in the northern and central parts of the park, its home to the biggest number of chimpanzees in Uganda. During the walk, you are likely to come to a close view of some of the primates like baboons, monkeys, black and white Colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys etc and a number of colorful butterflies. In the evening, drive to Queen Elizabeth National park as you enjoy a game drive as you go into the park Dinner and overnight at the hotel of your choice.
Day Five: Game drive and launch Cruise
Wake up early in the morning and prepare for an eye captivating game drive in the Northern parts of Kazinga channel, During the drive you will get a chance of seeing the early risers as they move back to their hideouts, a number of bird species, vegetation zones that is bushy grassland, acacia woodland, forest grassland, and swampy vegetation then as you move to the Kasenyi plain which is East of Kasese road, you will be able to see the kobs mating ground and on this spot, there are high chances of viewing a lion waiting to catch its prey.
Then return to your hotel for late breakfast and take some rest while waiting for lunch then move down to the Kazinga channel (40km long) for a boat cruise that is located between Lake George and Edward. while on the shores, you will view a variety of birds like white-winged warbler, lesser and greater flamingos, African skimmer, pink-backed pelican, the rare shore bill stork, martial eagles with families of Elephants and herds of Buffalos, Antelopes that gather there to drink water. You can also see crocodiles at afar distance and hippos in the water. Dinner and overnight at the hotel of your choice.
Day Six: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
Wake up early in the morning and drive to Bwindi via the Ishasha sector an area famous for harboring tree climbing lions then proceed to Bwindi arriving in the afternoon. The Bwindi impenetrable national park is located in the montane forest that is a home to some of the remaining Mountain gorillas in the world. On reaching the park, you will be able to view interesting spectacular birds that include African Green Broadbill, Bar Tailed Trogon, and the gorgeous forest or tree species. You will also be able to see the beautiful primates like the Black and white Colobus Monkeys, Blue, Black Faced Red Colobus, and Red Tailed monkeys and Olive Baboons then dinner and overnight at the lodge of your choice.
Day Seven: GORILLA TRACKING
Wake up early in the morning and after breakfast; get ready to meet the gorillas. you are supposed to wear trousers and gumboots because the forest has biting insects and the ground is quite boggy and packed lunch then head to the ranger station for a briefing before you enter into the forest with the guides. Begin your search for the gorillas and as you walk, you will notice that there are some primate climbing on tree branches like the baboons, black and white Colobus monkeys, red-tailed and blue monkeys etc and a number of birds. As you approach the gorillas, you will hear murmuring sound from the bush and when you locate them, you will be filled with joy because itâ€™s a memorable experience.
You are only allowed one hour with the gorillas and during this time you will be able to see how the young ones play on tree branches and the way the adults look for their babies, take photos and relax with them then return to your lodge and in the late evening you may participate in the cultural walk. Dinner and overnight at the hotel of your choice.
Day Eight: Head to Kampala
After an adventurous safari and encounter with the apes, embark on your journey to Kampala to catch up with your onward flight back home.
