1 Day Jinja Safari tour

Wake up very early in the morning and after breakfast; begin your journey to Jinja. You will drive heading east and there you will be able to the coffee tee and sugar plantations and the colorful roadside fruit and vegetable markets. On your way you will have a stopover at Seziwa River (this is the water body that many believe to have been born by a woman) while here you will be told plenty of stories about how the river was formed.

Then proceed to Mabira forest and while in Mabira, you may do a forest walk or visit the picnic sites and this will give you a chance to see some of the primates, birds, butterflies and small insects in a close range. Then proceed to Jinja to see the source of the Nile. On reaching the source of the Nile you will be able to see the spot where Speke first discovered the source then continue to Jinja town for lunch at the hotel of your choice.

After lunch, you will visit Owen falls dam for a boat cruise along the banks of the Nile and during the cruise you will be able to see a variety of wildlife with plenty of birds and reptiles then go to kalagala falls where different cultural activities take place like water rafting, Kayaking, Bird watching, Swimming, Nature walks and a number of activities on Bujagali falls like Bungee jumping, Acrobatics, cultural dances etc. Then in the evening embark on your journey back to Kampala. Dinner and overnight at the hotel of your choice
